VIP Pallet Shippers for Temperature-Controlled Transport
A pallet shipper should be selected around the actual loading envelope and distribution route. Compare the three catalogue constructions below, then agree coolant placement, mechanical handling and the return or disposal process.

- Separate load, inner and outer dimensions
- Detachable, fixed and one-way catalogue options
- Temperature performance specified for the complete loaded system

Published dimensional references, not standard pallet-footprint compatibility. Confirm door clearance, loading orientation, fork entry, maximum gross weight and coolant layout. Ambiguous catalogue weight columns are not used as shipping weights.
Detachable or fixed?
A detachable construction is worth assessing when empty return volume matters. Confirm disassembly, reassembly checks, panel protection and packed return dimensions. For fixed units, assess storage and return freight with the assembled footprint.
When to consider one-way packaging
Where recovery is impractical, compare one-way packaging against a returnable system on delivered cost, destination handling and waste requirements. Do not assume a one-way catalogue box is qualified for repeated trips.
Check the route, not just the litres
Send the packed load dimensions, mass and stacking pattern, required temperature range, transit and customs allowance, seasonal profiles and destination. Agree a loading plan and test acceptance criteria before a pilot shipment.
