Fiberglass VIP

Start with the barrier-film configuration, then select the panel dimensions and density. Double Alu, Hybrid and Nano use glass-fiber or glass-microfiber cores with different barrier films. All three include getter and desiccant.

  • Double Alu: 2.0 ± 0.5 mW/(m·K)
  • Hybrid / Nano: 1.8 ± 0.4 mW/(m·K)
  • 5–35 mm

Compare three configurations

The film and adsorption package are part of the specification, not interchangeable accessories. Product photos show fiberglass-series geometry; the film grade is confirmed with the order.

Dimensions and operating range

All three configurations share the following dimensional envelope. Confirm the final drawing, edge treatment and assembly clearances before production.

Hybrid and Nano film barrier data

These are film-level indicators. They are not the leakage rate of a finished VIP and do not replace panel-level aging or edge-bridge evaluation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a fiberglass VIP be trimmed during assembly?

No. Order the finished dimensions and any factory-made shapes in advance. Cutting or puncturing the envelope destroys the vacuum.

Does Nano VIP have the same density options as Hybrid VIP?

No. The specification lists 320–360 kg/m³ for Nano. Hybrid and Double Alu also list a 240–280 kg/m³ option.
